Travel Health

Advice for travellers is provided by the practice nurses who are specifically trained. They can provide all vaccinations including yellow fever. Please be aware that requirements and recommendations for a particular destination may change at short notice so it is essential to obtain up to date information.

Ideally an appointment should be made at least six to eight weeks before departure to allow sufficient time to complete vaccination courses. Please complete our online Travel Risk Assessment form before your appointment.

A number of travel vaccinations and anti-malarial tablets are not available on the NHS and are therefore issued on a private prescription for which there will be a charge. If payment is required this needs to be paid prior to each appointment, by cash or card.

You can also check the vaccinations you require for the destination you are travelling to, please visit the Fit for Travel website at www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk.
