Antenatal clinics are available with the midwife at New House Surgery, Dorking, as part of the shared care programme with East Surrey Hospital.
All new mothers and babies are seen post-delivery at home by the midwife. We also offer mothers an 8 week postnatal check-up with a doctor.
Asthma And COPD Clinic

A respiratory nurse (Cheryl Seymour or Clare Lieske) will carry out a clinical review. For more information on asthma visit www.asthma.org.uk.

Our healthcare assistants offer daily appointments for pneumococcal and B12 injections, minor dressings, and new patient health checks. They offer appointments late morning/early afternoon for blood pressure monitoring and ECG’s. They also offer NHS health checks which are recommended, and free to anyone aged between 40 and 74.
Minor surgical procedures are performed by Dr Beattie, who is a keen interest in dermatologist and skin lesions.
If a doctor or nurse has requested you have a blood test you will be given a morning appointment with a phlebotomist. Please drink plenty of water during the eight hours before the blood test. All blood samples are taken in the morning so they can be collected at 13:00 and taken to the lab at East Surrey Hospital – this is also the case for urine, stool and sputum samples.
Very few blood tests are clinically urgent and the doctor/nurse will usually give you an indication of the time frame within which you need to book. If you feel you are unable to wait for our next available appointment, we can print the blood form so you can take it to the ESH hospital and have your blood test done there. Please ask one of our Patient Service Advisors.
Please complete our Request An Appointment With A Nurse Or Healthcare Assistant form to book an appointment for a blood test.
